Dr. Elham Mirzania, the recipient of the Special Book Award of China for Young Scholars in 2018, earned her Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language and Literature from Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, Iran. She then went on to complete her Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Modern Chinese Literature at Peking University. Dr. Mirzania spent several years living in Beijing and Shanghai before returning to Iran to teach Chinese language and literature at Allameh Tabataba’i University in Tehran, where she eventually became the head of the Chinese Language Department.

As the main editor of the Chinese-Persian Dictionary, published by China Commercial Press in Beijing, and the author of "China Under the Pen of Persians"; published by Hua Mu Lan Publication in Taiwan, Dr. Mirzania is well-regarded in both academic and literary circles. Her work as a translator, including her translations of contemporary Chinese and Persian literature into both languages, has received widespread recognition. She has also published over 10 scholarly articles in top-ranked magazines in China.

Dr. Mirzania is an active member of the International Confucian Network and has attended numerous international conferences in Iran, China, and Malaysia. Her contributions to the fields of Chinese language and literature have made her a respected and well-known figure in academic circles.
