Professor Ed Béchard-Torres appointed to the Human Rights Expert Panel of the Court Challenges Program
The Lincoln Alexander Law professor has been appointed to the CCP for a term of 3.5 years.

We are proud to announce that one of our newest faculty members, Ed Béchard-Torres has been appointed to the Human Rights Expert Panel of the Court Challenges Program (CCP). Professor Béchard-Torres was appointed to the CCP by the Honourable Pablo Rodriguez, Minister of Canadian Heritage for a 3.5 year term.
The objective of the CCP is to provide individuals and groups in Canada with financial support to bring cases of national significance related to constitutional and quasi-constitutional official language rights and human rights before the courts.
The Expert Panel is responsible for allocating funding to support groundbreaking human rights litigation in cases of federal importance. For additional details about the program, please visit the CCP website (external link) .
