Ayderus Alawi
Ayderus Alawi is a criminal defence lawyer running a high-volume practice in the Greater Toronto Area and a founding partner of Gavel Law Group. He regularly appears before the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice, representing clients charged with various offences. Ayderus oversees the day-to-day management of the criminal law files at the firm while mentoring students and junior associates. With over 12 years of experience, he holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, a JD, and an LLM. He also sits on several boards and panels and is actively involved in the community as a volunteer.
