Walter Chen
Walter Chen is a corporate and capital markets associate at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. He regularly advises on mergers & acquisitions, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, partnerships and corporate governance.
Walter was called to the Ontario bar in 2019 after receiving his J.D. from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. He is also a CFA Charterholder, which has assisted Walter in providing practical advice while balancing the sensitivities of a business with the legal requirements of its operation. In his spare time, Walter volunteers with Pro Bono Ontario to provide pro bono services to vulnerable Ontarians struggling with obtaining access to justice.
Outside of law, Walter is an avid hiker, chef and karaoke enthusiast.
