
Kent Glowinski
Kent has been a member of the Ontario Bar for almost two decades. He is presently the Director of Privacy and Freedom of Information at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) of Ontario. Prior to this, Kent was the Director of Access to Information and Privacy at the former Department of Indigenous Affairs and Northern Development Canada, and has held roles at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat, the Department of Justice Canada, the Canada and the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), and the Offices of the Information and Privacy Commissioners of Ontario and British Columbia.
Kent is currently an instructor of Employment and Labour Law, and Business Law, at Toronto Metropolitan University. He has taught Privacy and Freedom of Information courses across Ontario, as well as Access to Information and Privacy at the Canada School of Public Service across Canada.
Kent holds a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University and a Juris Doctorat from the University of Victoria (B.C.). He holds several certifications in Risk Management and Workplace Investigations. He is in the process of completing the Bar for the State of New York.
When not teaching, Kent enjoys spending time cooking, traveling, hiking, following current events, volunteering, and spending time with his family and overly active cats.
