Undergraduate
“Finding yourself is not really how it works. Your true self is right there, buried under cultural conditioning, other people’s opinions and inaccurate conclusions you drew as a kid about who you are. “Finding yourself” is returning to yourself. An unlearning, an excavation, a remembering who you were before the world got its hands on you.”

Graduate
In grad school there’s an immense pressure to compete and excel, and while healthy competition is worthwhile, students (like me) often struggle with the notion of “perfection.” Now that my master’s is done, I found perfection to be a myth, it’s the mistakes I made that taught me the most.
I am thankful for this program, the amazing professors and friends who helped me realize my confidence and career goals. The seventh-round pick mentality continues!
his one’s for that time I got lost on the TTC on the way to a Covering the City assignment in my first month of classes and ended up writing it in a rundown McDonald’s while being offered McNuggets by a man named Maurice.
Do not read the next sentence. You little rebel, I like you.
"It is not that I'm mad, it is only that my head is different from yours." -Diogenes
