Tonisha Boyd

Tonisha Boyd is the Graduate Program Administrator for the Master of Journalism program. She joined the Ryerson School of Journalism in 2017 but has been working at Ryerson since 2011 after graduating from the Criminal Justice program. Tonisha is on leave Winter 2022, Spring/Summer 2022, for assistance with the Master of Journalism program, email mj@torontomu.ca

In her role with the MJ program, she supports students and faculty with administrative needs,  plans and coordinates program events and manages the program’s budget and day to day operations of the MJ graduate program office.

In addition to this, she is a member of the Ryerson Black Faculty and Staff Community Network as one a co-lead of Special Events and Fundraising and is a member of the FCAD EDI Working Group.

Tonisha is also a part-time student pursuing a Master of Education in Adult Education and Community Development at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto.
