Michael Turco
Michael is Manager of Operations, Administration, & Equity for the School of Journalism. He joined the School in April 2021, having previously worked for the Dean's office since May 2019.
As part of his work at the School of Journalism, Michael supports community members to build upon work already taking place around mental health, operations, student support, and strategy in a way that centres anti-racism, equity, diversity, inclusion, listening, learning and collaboration.
Michael has over a decade of experience leading teams through periods of intensive change in higher education. He has previously worked at the Royal College of Art, the University of East Anglia, The UK Ministry of Justice, the British House of Commons, and The Ohio State University.
