Jill Mahoney is a Globe and Mail reporter who specializes in investigative and enterprise journalism. During her more than 25 years at The Globe, Jill has covered a range of issues, including the COVID-19 pandemic, Ontario politics and the real estate industry. She was also the paper's Edmonton correspondent for six years. She has won two National Newspaper Awards with colleagues, one for sustained coverage of the early spread of COVID-19 in long-term care homes and the other for a feature on an Alberta campground destroyed by a tornado. She was also part of a Globe team that received an award from the Society of American Business Editors and Writers Canada for a package on housing.
