Blake Lambert
Contract Lecturer
I'm a professional interstitialist in post-secondary teaching and journalism. I started out as a journalist, worked in radio and print in Inuvik, Regina, Riga, Saskatchewan and West Jerusalem. I retain a degree of infamy for being expelled from Uganda in 2006. However, I did describe Uganda's First Lady as a "condom basher" in a story for The Economist. After a very long day in Cote d'Ivoire, when the country was divided between the government and rebels, I decided to enter graduate school. That eventually led me into teaching Liberal Studies courses at Humber College. I spent years in daily journalism with CBC News' World This Hour and the Hourly News and then The Canadian Press.
