Support the Jack Layton Chair

In 2012, Toronto Metropolitan University (then Ryerson University) established the Jack Layton Chair to honour Jack’s unique journey from a university classroom to a national inspiration. The Chair continues to advance Jack’s legacy of humanitarian leadership at TMU.

The Chair seeks to advance progressive social change and strengthen political capacity at Toronto Metropolitan University by supporting students in exploring their sense of engagement in justice issues through educational events, creative arts, and leadership schools.
