Why TMU?
Being located in the heart of downtown Toronto and having a perfect balance of entertainment and academics was where I had to be.
What helped you adjust to life in Toronto?
My biggest support was my residence community at TMU. In my first year, I lived on campus and that was the best part of my time here.
What courses did you take?
I was able to learn French and Spanish as my electives as well as pick a variety of Psychology courses such as Child Development, Social Psychology, and Psychology and Law.
What experiences have you had outside the classroom?
I had the opportunity to volunteer at an elementary school and assist children with developmental delays. I was also able to obtain an internship at the world-renowned Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) and gain hands-on experience working in a hospital setting.
What are some extracurricular activities you participated in?
I was part of the TMU dance club as well as the TMU Indian Students Association (external link) !
