Members of the Spirit Wind Hand Drum Group who will be taking part in the Drumming Above the City with Spirit Wind event.

Join us for an evening on the rooftop with drumming and singing with Spirit Wind hand drum group.

You’re invited to bring your own hand drums and join in the drum circle. There will be a few extra hand drums on hand for those who do not have one.

Light refreshments will be provided.

This event is brought to you by Rebirthed Teachings and Gdoo-maawnjidimi Mompii Indigenous Student Services in the Indigenous Initiatives unit of the Office of the Vice-President, Equity and Community Inclusion (OVPECI), in collaboration with the Urban Farm’s Indigenous Foodways program.

About the Spirit Wind Hand Drum Group  

The Spirit Wind Hand Drum Group is Michele Perpaul, Tania Cordoba and Amy Desjarlais. The group formed in 1999 as an Indigenous women’s hand drum and singing group. The original members were Zainab Amadahy and Brenda MacIntyre, with several guest singers from the Toronto area joining over the years.
