Primary Analogue Darkroom

This recently built/renovated Darkroom was designed to promote class and peer supported printing. The accessible and collective approach to this lab supports student projects with 14 independent enlarging stations, dimmable LED safelights, a B&W RC paper processing machine, a 4x5 film processing machine, a light-tight film loading room (with filtered compressed air), a large sink for tray processing, and chemicals to support standard darkroom printing and film processing.

Access: Undergrad & Grad Photography students with appropriate classroom training from an instructor and completion of a safety orientation. Access is available outside scheduled class time. Lab access and enlarging stations must be signed out from the Technology Resource Centre before using.
