Image Arts Lecturer's film nominated for 6 Canadian Screen Awards
Naomi Jaye's feature film Darkest Miriam has been nominated for 6 Canadian Screen Awards including Best Motion Picture. Jaye is a lecturer in the Film department at The School of Image Arts at TMU.
Jaye wrote and directed the film which stars Britt Lower (Severance). The Director of Photography on the film, Michael Leblanc, has also lectured at TMU.
The Canadian Screen Awards announced their nominees on March 27. Darkest Miriam is nominated for Best Motion Picture, Achievement in Direction, Adapted Screenplay, Achievement in Sound Editing, Performance in a Leading Role for Britt Lower, and Performance in a Supporting Role for Tom Mercier.
