Husam (Sam) Dano is a Criminology student at the Faculty of Arts, also minoring in Law and Politics.
Ever since his first year, Sam has been involved in student life in several capacities, including his program’s course union - the Criminology Course Union (CCU) - as a year representative, the annual SPROUT Case Competition as a Lead Expert Liaison and website developer, as well as the Student Experience Centre at the Faculty of Arts as the Social Media and Communications Assistant and Special Projects Assistant. Most recently, after serving as the Special Projects Manager, Sam became the president-elect of the Society of Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities (SASSH), which represents 4,900+ Arts students through academic, professional, and social development initiatives.
Using his developed skills and networks, Sam continues to search for ways to be involved in the organization and facilitation of opportunities that provide value to Faculty of Arts students and the broader University community.
