Ambika Nicky Jaipersaud (she/her) is a current undergraduate student majoring in Criminology and pursuing a minor in Human Resources Management at the institution. She is also the co-founder and chair of marketing for Women of Colour In Law, a student group that addresses the biases, stigmatization, and lack of representation of women of colour in legal positions of power throughout the industry. Nicky Jaipersaud values the concept of intersectionality, and how intersectionality plays a significant role in various professions and academics. Nicky was also one of the award recipients of the Alan Shepard Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Awards for the 2021-2022 academic year, and is the incoming Vice President of Finance for the Society of Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities, which overlooks and assists over 4900 liberal arts students.
