Human Factors and the daily work of Engineers and Ergonomists - Understanding current practices

This study explores the tools and practices that engineers and ergonomists apply during workplace design. We ask questions such as the following:
- How and why are various tools used?
- What is the impact of those tools on decision making?
- How does information flow in an organization?
- What factors influence knowledge exchange?
This portion of the study, based in Canada, builds on pilot work already conducted in Sweden at the National Institute for Working Life.
