Anthony is a Professor and founding member of Graphs@Ryerson. His research is focused on pure mathematics and applications in graph searching and complex networks. He has received numerous distinctions for his teaching and research, and is very active in professional activities, including holding editorial and board positions with the university, academic journals and various other organizations.
Anthony has done much to bring abstract mathematics into accessible reach of general audiences. He maintains his own blog, The Intrepid Mathematician, and his writings have been featured in popular media, including National Post and Maclean's.
