Creative arts such as collaborative poetry and forum theater can challenge the colonial hegemony of dominant political cultures where talking heads predominate. My proposed doctoral research requires an investigation into the current state of multi-party decision-making and ways to include non-state actors in particular those often labelled as ‘being on the margins’. Research frameworks include post-structuralist and interpretivist theories to explore embodied sense making strategies in multi-party decision processes such as UN Climate Change negotiations.
