Laura Levin is Director of Sensorium: Centre for Digital Arts & Technology. Her research focuses on contemporary theatre and performance art; performing gender and sexuality; site-specific and urban intervention; intermedial and digital performance; and research-creation methodologies. Recent books include Performing Ground: Space, Camouflage, and the Art of Blending In, on the relationship between body and environment in contemporary performance, and Performance Studies in Canada (co-edited with Marlis Schweitzer). She is currently writing a book on performance and political culture in Canada.
