Dr. Bulgurcu’s research and teaching interests are cybersecurity, information privacy, social media and business analytics, and data visualization. Her research aims to provide guidance in the development of data protection and privacy preserving technologies, effective information security and privacy policies, awareness, and training programs. She also explores the implications of social media use and group privacy on creativity and innovation.
