Jean Bruce
Dr. Jean Bruce recently co-authored a book on the NFB classic film, Forbidden Love: Unashamed Stories of Lesbian Lives and co-edited a special issue of the European Journal of Cultural Studies on property television in the post-financial crisis era, which was the culmination of SSHRC-supported research on this subject. She is currently working on a collection of essays analysing advertising and consumer culture in the age of media convergence.
