Intersections | Cross-Sections is an interdisciplinary conference organized by and for graduate student scholars, artists, and activists through the efforts of the Communication and Culture Graduate Students Association (GSA). Since 2002, the conference has brought together graduate students from around the world to present research, engage in critical discussions, and participate in panels and workshops that reflect the diverse and intersectional nature of our program.

This year’s conference, happening on March 14, 2025, at the TMU Catalyst in the Rogers Communication Centre, invites you to explore the theme "Interrogating the Lifeworld", examining how we navigate, challenge, and reshape the social, cultural, political, and economic structures that define our daily experiences.

Expect a day filled with thought-provoking discussions, interdisciplinary panels, and creative presentations, featuring scholars and artists exploring pressing global issues. Whether you're interested in critical research, activism, or artistic expression, this is a unique opportunity to engage with cutting-edge ideas in an inclusive and collaborative environment. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this enriching and inspiring event—RSVP now to attend and participate!
