How to Create a Research Poster
Join TMU librarian Naomi Eichenlaub for a practical library workshop on designing an effective research poster. This session will cover key aspects of poster creation, including best practices for knowledge mobilization, design considerations, and delivering an effective presentation. You'll also learn how to access research support and library resources, as well as important considerations around copyright and academic integrity. The session will conclude with time for questions and discussion.
What is a Research Poster?
A research poster visually summarizes your work, combining concise text with tables, graphs, and images. Posters are a staple of academic conferences, allowing researchers to share their findings, engage with peers, and receive feedback in an interactive setting.
Whether you're preparing for a conference or looking to improve your presentation skills, this session will equip you with the tools to create a compelling research poster.
