Hosted by the York & TMU Joint Graduate Program in Communication and Culture, the conference provided a dynamic platform for engaging discussions on memory, media, and marginality. The event welcomed a vibrant community of scholars, practitioners, and students who shared thought-provoking insights into critical issues shaping our world.
Conference Highlights
The day featured three stimulating sessions, each comprising diverse panels that explored themes such as decolonial dialogues, feminist intersections, media activism, and digital frontiers. Presenters brought forward interdisciplinary perspectives on storytelling, cultural representation, and the intersections of race, gender, and technology.
