Yu (Yulian) Weng
Hello, I am Dr. Yu Weng, known as Yulian, with a specialization in ultrasonics. I am particularly interested in exploring the use of advanced signal processing techniques and imaging algorithms to extract more information from ultrasonic data, which can reveal hidden information about the world around us.
Over the course of my career, I have applied my expertise in ultrasonics, signal processing, and imaging across various industrial applications, resulting in published papers and U.S. patents.
Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Toronto Metropolitan University, supervised by Dr. Michael Kolios. My research interests include photoacoustic imaging, nonlinear contrast imaging, ultrafast and super-resolution imaging, Ultrasound Localization Microscopy (ULM), velocity imaging, and functional ultrasound (fUS). My goal is to contribute to the development of the next generation of ultrasound imaging systems and advance the field of biomedical ultrasound.
