
Roberto Tarantino
Roberto Tarantino earned his BEng in Chemical Engineering before pursuing a Ph.D. at Toronto Metropolitan University, where he focused on tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, and cellular metabolism. His research integrates engineering principles with the biological sciences, aiming to solve complex challenges in tissue regeneration. After completing his Ph.D., Roberto became a licensed Professional Engineer, broadening his ability to apply technical expertise. He currently works on projects involving chondrocyte expansion and dedifferentiation, media optimization, and cellular metabolism, with a specific focus on applications to osteoarthritis. Roberto’s work brings together experimental techniques and data-driven analysis to create innovative approaches for advancing both fundamental science and applied research.
