Mohsen Rostami is a Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer with +14 years experiences of working in aerospace industries. Dr. Rostami has graduated with a GPA of A+ from TMU with a focus on the multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO) of small and eVTOL aircraft. Also, he did a graduate research internship program focusing on the use of eXtended Reality (XR) in the aerospace industry.
Dr. Rostami has extensive experience in industry, ranging from Aero/Flight Dynamics/Stability & Control Engineer to Aerospace Simulation Engineer. He was the design team lead at Columbiad from 2019 to 2020 and the Urban Air Mobility (UAM) Project Lead at Veyond Metaverse from 2022 to 2023. Mohsen holds master's degrees in Aerospace Engineering (University of Tehran) and Mechanical Engineering (York University). As a postdoctoral research fellow, Dr. Rostami mentors students and conducts research on UAM and XR applications, publishing his findings and developing immersive control stations.
