Dr. Mohammed Hafedh Awad

Mohammed Awad earned his BEng in Petroleum Engineering from Syrian Private University. After extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, he earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University where he specialized in research areas of polymer reaction engineering and advanced statistical methods. Since joining PolyAnalytik Inc. in 2020, Mohammed has held a Senior Research Scientist along with Postdoctoral Fellow at Toronto Metropolitan University. He currently leads several internal and external projects with a team of PhDs in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Chemistry, and Biomedical Engineering. Mohammed is a part-time professor in the Process Quality Engineering Department at Conestoga College and has recently joined Chemical Engineering Department at Waterloo University as a Postdoctoral Fellow.
