
Mateusz Zawisza
Dr. Mateusz Zawisza, a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Mathematics of TMU, is currently working with Prof. Pawel Pralat on the economic efficiency of random matching process on graphs as well as investigating the empirical properties of hypergraphs. His research interests extend to management science, operational research & econometrics. His publications appeared in peer-reviewed journals, e.g. Personality and Individual Differences, Operations Research and Decisions & Mathematica Applicanda. Prior to academia, he spent 10 years as a Data Science Expert at McKinsey & Company and SAS Institute, focusing on diverse topics including the optimization of price, inventory & marketing campaigns. Dr. Zawisza serves also as an Assistant Professor (on the leave) at SGH Warsaw School of Economics, where he taught courses in Machine Learning, Simulation Modelling in Julia & Decision theory. He has also taught the course of Data Analysis in Julia at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
