Abubakr Shafique is a professional in the fields of machine learning and medical image analysis. He recently earned his PhD in 2024 from the University of Waterloo, Canada, focusing on research related to representation learning of medical images. Prior to this, he obtained his master's degree in biomedical engineering from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taiwan, and his bachelor's degree in Electrical Computer Engineering from COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan. With extensive experience spanning several years, Abubakr specializes in computer vision and medical image processing.
