International Students
Whether you are new to Canada or continuing your graduate studies as an international student, the information and resources below will help guide you on your graduate journey at TMU.
If you are an international student and need a study permit to attend school in Canada, you will need to obtain a Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) along with your Letter of Acceptance (LOA) to submit with your study permit application. You will also be required to pay a $2,000 deposit upon accepting your offer of admission from TMU. A Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) will then be issued to you when you accept your offer of admission and we have received your $2,000 deposit.
Once you receive your Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL), you will submit it, along with your Letter of Acceptance (LOA) with your study permit application. We recommend applying for your study permit as soon as possible to avoid processing delays.
More information about PALs and study permits can be found here.
