30GB Shared Storage for Google Drive and Gmail

Released On: June 04, 2013

Google is bringing a unified storage of 30GB for TMU Google Apps users to be used between Google Drive and Gmail (replacing the current allocation of 25GB for Gmail and 5GB for Drive).

Google Drive offers 30 gigabytes of shared storage

Just as before, files created in Docs, Sheets, and Slides won’t count against storage quota.

As a benefit with this new combined storage, you can use your storage how you need to. As a result of this storage change, Gmail inboxes for Google Apps customers are no longer limited to 25GB. Alternatively, if you are only using a few gigabytes of email storage, but have a lot of large documents and files stored in Google Drive, you can now use your storage primarily for Drive.
