Nella, 2nd-Year Experience

When I entered the Geographic Analysis program, I felt instantly welcomed. Although initially I was anxious about the unknowns of university, the GA program quickly settled my nerves and has been wonderful from the start. The dynamic between students and professors is excellent, with plenty of help and insight whenever I have questions. Whether it is by email, during office hours, or in class, I am always heard and helped.

A surprise for me was the collaborative structure of the computer labs, which became one of my favourite aspects of the program. In the labs, GA students come together to help each other, and it is where I became friends with so many like-minded students. Also, the classes keep me engaged because the material focuses on real-world applications. I always appreciate that the knowledge I gain from my classes is valuable and positively impacts my skill set. The GA program has been an enjoyable experience and has made me confident that I am prepared for my future endeavours.
