Certificates
Three post-graduate certificates are offered by the Department of Geography & Environmental Studies through the G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education:
- The Certificate in Applied Digital Geography and GIS (opens in new window) offers the theoretical education and practical training you need for a successful career as a GIS professional. You may be interested if you are a recent university graduate, are starting out in the GIS industry, or are new to Canada.
- The Advanced Certificate in Applied Digital Geography and GIS (opens in new window) presents professionals working in the GIS industry with an opportunity to upgrade their technical knowledge and skills in order to stay current in this fast-changing field.
- The Crime Analytics Certificate (opens in new window) provides students with a theoretical foundation and extensive practical experience in using crime analysis tools for tactical, strategic, and administrative decision-making in law enforcement.
Courses
Throughout the year, the Department also offers a selection of its undergraduate courses through the Chang School in order to give students across Toronto Metropolitan University's programs more flexibility in completing their degree requirements using evening courses and all three terms, including spring/summer.
