Claire Stevenson-Blythe Fights Against Homelessness in Toronto

The Encampment Support Network is a volunteer organization that supports people living in encampments in Toronto. In addition to her day job as an urban planner, Claire Stevenson-Blythe (Environment and Urban Sustainability '16) participates in the organization's outreach and advocacy. The scarcity of affordable housing and the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic have a compounding effect on homelessness.
After graduating from the EUS program, Claire completed an MSc in Planning at the University of Toronto and joined Gladki Planning Associates in mid-2020. During her studies at Ryerson, Claire engaged in the EUS Student Association and worked in different research and administrative jobs on campus.
