It’s been said that experiential learning is the cornerstone of students’ learning, fortifying understanding and nurtures aspirations. But not all experiential learning is the same. The difference, according to trends in knowledge, is equity!
- How and why does equity make a difference in experiential learning?
- How do we position equity in experiential learning to enable meaningful experiences for students?
- How do we address barriers to equity in experiential learning?
FCS graduate and undergraduate students are invited to engage in reflection, debate, and sharing that make a case for equity in experiential learning. Together with an audience that includes field/clinical placement coordinators, faculty members, and preceptors, strategies and decisions of equity-informed experiential learning are explored. Join us for a brilliant and moving conversation!
