Please join Dr. Laura Istanboulian at the Daphne Cockwell School of Nursing, as she shares "Reimagining an Essential Care Partner Program for Persistent Critical Illness". This is a hybrid event.

Objectives

  • Understand the importance of establishing an Essential Care Partner (ECP) program for persistent critical illness settings
  • Describe a multi-stage research project to improve the design and delivery of an ECP program in these settings
  • Describe reported roles of ECPs, impact of being an ECP, and key facilitators to implementing an ECP program in these settings
  • Share next steps for this research project
