- Are your students sometimes confused about the difference between academic consideration and academic accommodation? Are you?
- Would you like to be able to support your students well in these areas?
- Would it be helpful to understand some of the differences & intersections between Policy 159 (Academic Accommodation for Students with Disabilities) & Policy 167 (Academic Consideration)?
Please join FCS colleagues for a workshop led by Academic Accommodation Services (AAS).
In this presentation, AAS staff provide an overview of the academic accommodation process and discuss balancing essential academic requirements with accommodations. The different policies, processes, and responsibilities associated with academic consideration requests and academic accommodation plans are clarified, scenarios are presented, and time is provided for individual questions.
Questions? Please email angeline.cheung@torontomu.ca with any questions or accessibility requests.
