Fashion label Demestik, founded by designer Reuben Reuel in 2012, is described as “an inclusive brand offering designs, sustainably made on demand” crafted to fit the lifestyle of its wearers.¹ During the pandemic, Demestik began selling statement-making face masks in a variety of bold and vibrant Ankara fabrics. The masks, which are made in the USA, are fully filtered, with a structured design that combines fashion and function.²
