MA Fashion Alumna & PhD Student Goes to Central Saint Martins

MA Fashion Alumna and current PhD student in the Communication & Culture program, Myriam Couturier will be going to Central Saint Martins for an exchange that she applied through Mitacs (external link, opens in new window) .

Fashion Faculty and Couturiers supervisor, Dr. Alison Matthews David encouraged her to apply for the Mitacs exchange, which helped Couturier find a project that fit perfectly with her research interests, and connected her with scholars at CSM. Couturiers dissertation focuses on historical fashion collections in Toronto.

Couturier has been working as a Research Assistant with Dr. Matthews David and has joined the Modern Literature and Culture at Toronto Metropolitan University.
