Message from the Chair

Dear School of Fashion community,

Welcome and welcome back to all existing and new Fashion community members! 

We recognize that this semester will continue to present unique challenges. The pandemic is not over. However, the past months have shown the importance of having a strong supportive community to help guide and protect us through difficult times. I am so proud of the work our faculty, staff and students have done to support one another, and teach and learn in unconventional ways. We’ve all learned so much, in such a short period of time, and I am confident that we can confront ANY challenges that might come our way. 

The School of Fashion at The Creative School is a special place that transgresses time and space, beyond the borders of campus. Those of you that have been here for several years can attest to this statement. We are a community dedicated to our guiding principles of inclusion, decolonization and sustainability. We are compassionate, we are caring, we are critical, and we are creative. 

Please know that you can always reach out to me with any questions, concerns or ideas -- I especially love emails with great ideas from our community members! I hope you all know that you belong here and that you are valued and appreciated.
