Join Our Talent Roster
Are you interested in becoming a simulator with LAS? Do you have a background in acting or extensive work/education experience in a particular field? We are always interested in meeting potential simulators. Even if we are not actively hiring, we may need to make additions or changes to our roster throughout the year. Having information on hand from interested applicants assists us in filling the available spots.
The LAS program hires on an as-needed basis. We encourage you to apply, and LAS will keep your materials on file when an opening becomes available. The simulator’s professionalism and skill largely determine the learners’ simulation experience quality. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to you for your interest in and contribution to our program.

What Does a Simulator Do?
LAS trains simulators to reproduce a particular character’s history, personality, physical and emotional state in a given simulation scenario. Beyond building the character, simulators must also observe and respond to both verbal and non-verbal cues and track their emotional responses during the simulation. This is a critical aspect of the other key role of a simulator to give each learner specific, behaviour-based feedback regarding the experience from their character’s perspective.
Review the Simulation Catalogue to browse examples of the types of simulations you would be acting in.
Important Reminder
We hire simulators on an ongoing, “as-needed” basis to fill gaps in our existing roster. We will keep your application on file and contact you for an interview once a suitable opening/role becomes available. We invite you to check in with us periodically if you need to update/add any information to your application file.
