Teen Pregnancy and Nutrition (#608)

This simulation was developed in collaboration with the IDPP – Internationally Educated Dietitians Pre-Registration Program.

This teenage girl discovered she was pregnant and has decided to keep the baby. She has made an appointment with a dietitian who can help her understand the importance of healthy eating during pregnancy.

Note: Though this simulation was developed with a focus on nutrition, Theresa Hogan is a rich character and different from the other teenage girls who are pregnant. Theresa is very positive about having this baby. Theresa could also be seeing a social worker, a nurse, a counsellor or a therapist.
