Teen Diabetic (#609)
This simulation was developed in collaboration with Angela Cuddy and the Department of Nutrition at Toronto Metropolitan University.
A teenage girl has been diagnosed with diabetes. A dietitian must help her realize that she can make the necessary changes in her nutrition without too much change to daily life.

Information for Learners
Rebecca has just been diagnosed with diabetes and needs to monitor and control her blood sugar level in order to keep her diabetes in check. Certain aspects of her diet have to change. Rebecca’s mother accompanies her to this initial meeting with the dietitian.
