Recent Widower: In-Home Care (#610)

This simulation was developed in collaboration with Angela Cuddy and the Department of Nutrition, Toronto Metropolitan University.

Raymond is a patient with chronic renal failure who is without full-time care. He needs to improve his health and nutrition or he will require hospital admission.

Information for Learners

Raymond, with long standing renal failure and now recently widowed, has no knowledge of cooking or nutrition. However, he needs to meet his severe dietary restrictions if he wishes to remain living at home.
