This sixty-nine year old woman is being assessed by a home care worker for support services. She is a widow who lives on her own. Her forty-five year old daughter has Power of Attorney and looks after all of her mother’s financial affairs.

The home care case manager is visiting Mrs. Mary Ferrari's apartment at the request of the family doctor. Her daughter has been asked to attend the meeting in order to discuss the recommendation to provide Mrs. Mary Ferrari with some support services. Her doctor asked for an assessment because she has been concerned about Mrs. Mary Ferrari's increasing forgetfulness over the past six months.
