Information for Learners
Dylan Hopper’s Employment Insurance (EI) has come to an end. He has not worked in over a year and as a next step, the EI representative booked him for an appointment with a counsellor/social worker to discuss potential next steps, possible job avenues and the ending of his EI coverage. The hope is that a fresh approach may give Dylan a new direction. You are the counsellor/social worker assigned to Dylan Hopper’s case. You are meeting him for the first time at your office in the local Community Centre Walk-in Counselling Service.
