Information for Learners
Last week, Kwame booked an appointment with you, a social worker/counsellor at the local community health centre, because a friend suggested that “seeing a counsellor as an objective third party perspective may provide some clarity, support and help with his dilemma.” When asked to clarify the dilemma Kwame simply stated he felt challenged by his family. He also mentioned that he contacted this community health centre because it is outside of his local community and he does not want anyone to see him going to it. You agreed to meet with Kwame and discuss his dilemma at your office today.
